Directions- Taylor Bay is located on the southwest side of the island. The westernmost point ends at Silly Creek. The easternmost point ends at Sapodilla Bay.
Taylor Bay is very similar to Sapodilla Bay. Think like a natural wading pool.
The sand is super-soft. As you step, you will easily sink-in (even in the water!)
Such beautiful scenery.
It took me about 2 minutes to thankfully realize this was not a snake.. lol.
I like seeing the island’s natural vegetation. It’s not the most colorful or lush, but it’s neat to be able to tell what is 100% natural vs. what is obviously not.
On one side of the bay are some beautiful villas (who wouldn’t love to live in one of these full-time?!)
As with Sapodilla Bay, you can walk out a good ways before the water gets deep. Notice how much further out these people are than I am, yet the water’s only up to their chests.
Since the water is so crazy clear, you can easily see fish.
The other side has some vegetation, and is quite rocky. I was proud of myself for walking up the rock (wearing just a bikini, and barefoot no less!) On my instagram, I have a great video of the waves splashing up on the rocks.
